As witnessed by the tripe they are currently serving up from Aintree. All 'old pals' and 'chums' TV with obnoxious fawning and self congratulation.

Channel 4 do it far better, Sky even better still.


BBC if you are going to do sport then put some bloody effort into it and treat the viewing public with a sense of respect.

As a big snooker fan, it's ridiculous seeing John Parrott at Aintree and Royal Ascot. He retired because he moaned about not having the time or patience to practice anymore but Steve Davis, Jimmy White and Stephen Hendry (similar ages) are all still playing to a high standard without the need to enjoy commenting on the betting with Gary Wiltshire.

The BBC website is driving me nuts as well. It's always the very last to be updated with goals and scores. They don't even update the videprinter immediately. Very poor.
