Bit early, but who cares?

Can't you get some optimism, its not as if we've had a bad season. We're flying higher than we have for years and yes mistakes have been made but thats only normal. There's 4 games left and nothing thats gone before it matters now, take each game as it comes and try and enjoy the ride. Not many would have thought we wold have got so many points when Slade took over and saved us from relegation, its football and anything can happen, wigan beat Man united tonight and who saw that coming....

Will we make the play-offs?

But even if we do win it is not because you have started the matchday thread, or because perseus or somebody else has not, or whether it was started the same day as kick off or a day before, or if it is started on an odd hour or an even hour. Who cares!
IT DOES NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Head-to-head
• West Ham boast a 50% winning record against Brighton. They have been triumphant in 10 of 20 competitive meetings, drawing another five, and losing five.
• Skipper Kevin Nolan scored the only goal of the game at Amex in October, to give West Ham the chance of a first double over the Seagulls.
• Brighton picked up their first ever league win at "Upton Park" on the last visit, in November 2004.

West Ham Utd
• If West Ham miss out on an immediate return to the Premier League through automatic promotion, it will be down to their home form. They are striving for a first win in eight games on their own soil, after six draws and one defeat.
• The defeat to promotion rivals Reading is the Hammers' only loss in 14 Championship games. It was their eighth league reverse of the season. No club has lost fewer games in the division.
• Ricardo Vaz Te has scored five goals in four games.

Brighton
• Brighton lie immediately outside the play-offs, two points adrift of sixth-placed Cardiff and without a win in four.
• Gus Poyet's side have suffered back-to-back 1-0 defeats to Burnley (a) and Reading (h) and are in danger of three defeats in a row and their worst sequence since ending 2011 on four straight losses.
• The Seagulls have scored just 16 goals on the road; only Coventry (12) and Bristol City (15) have fewer.

Anything short of a win here would be a disaster.............a 1-1 draw for me I'm afraid.
