Prem Strikers out of contract at end of the season, any you would fancy?

Tuncay Sanli, 30 Years, Bolton
Michael Owen, 32 Years, Man United
Andy Johnson, 31 Years, Fulham
Pavel Pogrebnyak, 28 Years, Fulham
Marc-Antoine Fortuné, 30 Years, West Brom
James McFadden, 28 Years, Everton
Emile Heskey, 34 Years, Aston Villa
Kevin Davies, 35 Years, Bolton
Ricardo Fuller, 32 Years, Stoke

Somewhere near Reading...
How about Heider Helgusson? QPR have a shitload of strikers, so may be willing to let him go. Just what we need IMO - big, strong and proven at both prem & championship level

These two are SO unrealistic! Pogrebnyak has just joined Fulham and has scored something ridiculous like 5 goals in 6 appearances for them. At 28 he will be playing in the Prem for YEARS to come. Andy Johnson will go to someone like Liverpool, no chance at all of him dropping down either.

Johnson, Pog and fortune yes please, but no chance - they will stay in the prem
All the rest would be good and could happen...
...except heskey...just no...

Any ex PL player will have wages that are too high. The difference in money is ridiculous. Reading could afford Roberts' wages, we probably wouldn't be able to and that's why they're getting promoted and we aren't.

Emnes or Murray.

if he would come, Lukas Jutkiewiscz would be a great signing for us IMHO
Big strong, good in the air, holds the ball up, knows where the goal is, great link up play

This is the correct answer. Emnes is a great player but would be better to play Barnes's position. Jutkiewiscz seems to have sticky feet he holds the ball up so well. The best striker I've seen against us this year in that role.

Heider Helgusson if QPR are relegated or Jamie Mackie (though both may be a tad unrealistic as could get moves to lower prem teams)

Either of boro's jukebox or emnes would be lovely if middlesborough don't go up

How about Buckley up front? He's played there before for watford, he's quick can beat a player and is calm in front of goal
