My mate Dirty Barry reckons we've started negotiations with Orlando Pirates for Luis Boa Morte, deal around £500k agreed should we get promoted this summer.

Certainly whets the appetite of the calibre of player we'll be able to attract if we continue this form and reach the promised land of the EPL in May.

Interesting. Boa Morte might be useful as an experienced player but wonder if thats where we should spend our money?

I wonder if we would get better value out of Vokes who is younger and already with us so can be developed to suit our style. Plus Gus already sees him as a good option?

Fallen through, according to Dirty Barry, couldn't agree personal terms. Boa Morte wanted £30k per week and we weren't willing to go above 20k, make of that what you will.
