Score updates on big screen ?

When I lived in France, I was a STH at Toulouse FC. On their big screen during matches, they would put updates of scores in other matches, preceded by a large 'beep' . Does the club think this might be a good idea ?

They did this because other match data was interesting than watching Toulouse lose
