Uncle Sams in Montpelier Road was always our end of Sat night stop off. Loved it.

Not that it's very accessible from Brighton, but had a superb burger at Atomic Burgers in Oxford tonight (went to see Stornoway at The Regal in Cowley). Seriously top top burger if you are over that way - http://atomicburger.co.uk/

Always preferred Uncle Sam's. Grubbs used to make me feel queasy - oily burger. Granted, it may have been the alcohol! Probably time to give them another go.

Brilliant thread - after reading it, it'd have been daft not to have picked up a Grubbs last night.

I even convinced the girlfriend that they're the way forward as post-pub grub goes

I wish it would hurry up and open - seems like they have been fitting it out for WEEKS. Its about a 5 min walk from me and opposite the pub I go in the most so its perfect in every sense of the word!
