    Watched The Beat That My Heaty Skipped the other day. Not sure what to make of it really but it ended with me feeling quite flat.

    Paris is my favourite so far.

    That reminds me ... I watched Irreversible based on the recommendations in this thread. Apart from the fact that the camera work was giving me motion sickness ... I really had to turn it off when it got to the fire extinguisher scene. I would avoid, unless you have a strong stomach.

    Have a look at "La Fille Sur Le Pont", a very quirky, compelling tale featuring the lovely Vanessa Paradis.

    You can check out a very powerful clip, the knife-throwing scene, on YouTube. It's very moving...

    Diva - one of the most stylish and quirky films you could ever wish to see. Triller, romance, comedy all rolled into one. Made in the 80s and I've not seen it for a decade or so but I suspect it will have aged well despite many subsequent pale imitations.
