The raffle is always a rush job and people don't like hanging around so it has to be better and quicker next year. People said numbers were low but infact it was the biggest crowd since REMF 1, around 400 plus 50 teams/helpers means 450 in a very small space which makes moving around, locating and organising hard but there is room for improvment. I hope people will see the bigger picture in that we raised £ 10000 this year for the fund which i will post shortly.

Gareth, cheer up you mierable old scrote. REMF was a total success, and so what if we're not 100% sharp on stage management in setting up the presentation? Whoop-de-doo.

People enjoyed themselves and we raised a stinking ton of cash - THAT'S the important bit.

Simon Rodger has sent me a message to say he loved and it will be playing for the CPFC team again in REMF 10 ( he even forgives Richie !). Peter Ward and Ricky Marlowe have also confirmed.

Imho that would be a much better idea. People soon forget about the 'greater cause' when they are tired and want to find out whether they have won a signed something or other. There was quite a lot of grumbling in the bar after the game about having to wait around for the raffle.

BUT, that certainly shouldn't take the shine off another sterling effort from those who give up their own time to raise money for a good cause. Shame about the Craig Davies tributes from the Albion strikers

Fair comment matt and I think doing the raffle at half time next year is a good idea. It just means the sellers have less time but an hour or so should be enough time to do it if we get 4 or so people next year.

Agree about the raffle being held at half-time, though. That would still leave plenty of time to sell tickets before/during the first half.

If the club allow you to hold REMF 10 at Falmer, perhaps as a test to check everything is working before the big kick-off, what would be the chance of it being held there on an annual basis as a fundraiser? It would be a tremendous gesture and might help raise an even greater amount for such a worthy cause.

Nice one, if it were the first game at the new stadium I could see there being a fair few people wanting to be there...maybe have it as a curtain raiser before the first club friendly. It would be a fitting way to mark the 10th anniversary, even if the fixture did move elsewhere in subsequent years, plus it would probably raise an even bigger shed-load of cash than previous years.
