I have only today had confirmation that we can use the Withdean Stadium and the proposed dates. The latest we can play is Sunday 9th May so we will have to get out skates on with 6 weeks to go.

Presumably the Palace boys WON'T be available on Sunday 9 May. They'll want to be up at Coventry for CPFC's last game of the season. It's unlikely that many Palace supporters would choose the REMF game over Coventry.
And Friday 7 May looks difficult for us if people want to go to Wrexham on the Saturday. People who are travelling by train will have to be leaving the house by 7am in the morning. That won't encourage a big crowd at Withdean to stay behind for post-match presentations/celebrations.

Its got to be Thursday 6th May then. Its vital the match is played even if its with a handful of supporters.
We can have the game, 7.30 ko and presentations/raffle in the bar from 9.30 - 10.30.
The dates given are the only ones on offer and it is important we take up the Albion's offer of playing as in 4 years time we could have the REMF 7 match on the hallowed turf of Falmer.
Even if we raise£ 500 from sponsors, subs and a raffle that will help.
