Why does everyone seem to want snow ? Makes it bloody difficult to get around and, in the case of the Albion, could well lead to matches being postponed and more chaos in the form of fixture pile up at the back end of the season. I hate the damn stuff.

It f * ks everything up.
Very good chance can get days off work or minimum roll in very late.
People are happier generally
It f * ks everything up

This is my edit of the latest GFS output for South Sussex (roughly Worthing).

I've copied the 2m temp forecast to the top of the usual plot. Amazing output

Great summary.

It just feels different doesn't it. Makes everything look pretty, it almost feels like a little holiday.

Three things about this chart.

1) We are in very rare territory compared to normal winter weather, if the models verify anywhere near to this I wouldn't be surprised at not being able to get into work for a couple of days.
2) Interesting that there is a chance of snow flurries from Thursday?
3) And finally it's nice that it says no snow for Saturday so we can concentrate on the match!

Yep. but PLEASE wrap up warm. It will be very parky in the Upper West.

I'm heading off to the top of Cissbury Ring now with my sledge and I'm going to wait it out.

I don't want to miss it when it arrives.

Right, just came up to join you and was disappointed. Unless you have also disguised yourself as a New Forest Pony?

Boom tish.

He will be starting the annual man flu thread in a day or two then, asking to be air lifted off.

Actually the last time I saw Bozza has was in rude health, so probably not.

One thing I will say is he's a fool going up there now - it's been clear for a while that bar a possible wintry shower on Thursday the main event doesn't start until at the earliest Sunday night.

I think temperatures here will average 8 c this week, 11,10,9,7,6,6,6 so predicted 8-12 c, big thing is next week, said 5 c, may be 3 c for a couple of days but forecast now showing dry days anyway. We will see, it is just a bit of fun really

Looking at the past and forecast temps for Newhaven from here:

https://weather.com/en-GB/weather/monthly/l/UKXX0274:1:UK

The average max will come out at 7C, and the minimum at 1.57C, giving an average temp for the week (based upon max and min) of 4.3C
