I'm sat in an office at Canary Wharf today - so physical now-casts are hard to generate.

That's madness. They've effectively given up on trying to mitigate the risk or deal with the issue (IF it occurs!)

We'll see- it was never likely to be a major snow event, with all the rain in advance. I don't have enough time to do in depth analysis of the more detailed model output (Arpege & WRF) which will model the fine detail better.
