Peter Ward Justgiving - Peter Ward's Fundraising Page

...and in doing so you will be entered into a draw to win their match shirt.

3. Take part in an auction

There are some excellent items up for auction. The auction will conclude on the night of the game itself. However, if you are unable to make the evening in question, you can bid in advance.

I'm having rather a pedantic morning but could we change the word "profits" to "proceeds"? It's companies wot makes profits, charitable causes deal in proceeds!

I merely copy and pasted the post that TLO had made.

I see that the t-shirt sale has been changed to 'proceeds' above too. The post on this, again, clearly states 'profits', which makes sense since I'm assuming there is a cost in supplying the shirts.

How about changing it to "all NET proceeds"?

Not if a single pound of the proceeds goes in expenses. This would actually be illegal if the claim is all proceeds....

True. There are some expenses. I have usually referred to the takings as " net profit ".
