hello

do the club have any plans to have an under soil heating system at Falmer?? :falmer: watching some of the games in appalling conditions today surely this is something most new stadiums have to help reduce the chances of games being postponed?

thanks

I think undersoil heating is a bit of an old-fashioned cure, when prevention planning is actually a more effective way forward. USH causes more problems than it actually solves, as all it does is turn frozen pitches into muddy quagmires and actually damages the grass.

You're quite right regarding appalling conditions elsewhere - but hats off to Steve Winterburn and his team as Withdean has stood up to the rigours of four home games in the space of 11 days and a deluge of rain at three of them.
