In the mid 90's I used to regularly sit in the next seat to Ray Brooks on the Blackjack Tables at Sergeant Yorkes Casino by Brighton Station.
Ray Brooks ... aka Robbie Box in Big Deal and the voice of Mr.Benn -- more recently he was the fling of Pauline Fowler in EastEnders! dunno if he still lives in the area or not.
Also, Peter Eubank (Chris's elder and slightly less famous boxing brother) often filled the seat on the other side .... in fact, iirc, he still owes me a £5 chip when I subbed him for a double that didn't come off. Now where does he livve ... will have to send the boys round

I go up there regularly to sample the delights of the local hostelries, so I'm bound to bump into his nibs sooner or later. Hope I ain't too twatted tho' - else I'll probs make a complete arse of myself. Started doin' that 'you ain't seen me' biz in a boozer that Mark Williams was in once (including the gestures). He got up & left shortly afterwards. Funny that.
