Does former socialist turned Tony Crony "schmokin'" Steve Bassam post on here then? Is that who Mullers is?

As far as I know, he's just a regular customer of the Nelson. He certainly wasn't at the Crawley game, because he was playing cricket yesterday afternoon, but he was interested in how the Albion performed. And he thinks we should sign Rougier.

Check out Mullers' views on Rougier if you want an answer to the second question.

I used to play in the same cricket team as Lord Bassam in 1983. I turned up to a match once in a foul mood as we had just sold a player on the cheap to Spurs (Gary Stevens) and he said 'Gary Who?'.

He never used to follow the Albion until it became a vote winner, good off spinner though

Berks and Wilts, you are both two diamond geezers of the highest order  Pleasure meeting you both, thanks for a great laugh yesterday and this morning. Now you've sampled the finest nightlife Brighton has to offer you must come visit again. Although next time, get a hotel somewhere where we weren't frightened to walk to alone :lolol:

Funny as f*** when Berkshire bumped into his cousin in the Event who was a dead ringer for him!

Don't be too sure roz. I haven't seen what pics my husband took last night apart from Seagullible and me.

Good lord, so it does! But the original idea behind this little "up against the wall" series was - and all credit here to The Large One - based around the Quadrophenia Poster. Here's the first quick mock-up:

My heads cleared now and I can recall some of the conversations I had last night.

I remember speaking to Danny Seagull at the bar. We were talking about all the photos that were taken at the Grimsby game and posted on NSC.

I asked "so whose dad was that older chap you had pictures of?"

Danny: "No one's he was some guy we didn't know who just crashed at our place!"

:lolol: :lolol: I thought you guys knew him! :lolol:

I can see why you thought the tramp really was Sheebo's dad, there's a definite likeness  ;)
