Myself, Ed, Roz and Tony and other halfs and The Eatons went as we were shortlisted from 9 nominations to the final 3. Alas we did not win but each category was mentioned in a full report from Nicholas Owen so it was fantastic publicity and recognition for the fund.
All the people nominated were worthy and it was an inspirational night to see that there are many many great people and good things being done out there instead of all the bad news we only ever see.
Thanks to Paul Baron whose nomination was read out by Nicholas Owen and all the people who voted for the REMF.
The Eatons were very proud and it was even more special as it was Douglas Eaton's 84th birthday last night.
This is a collective charity and everyone deserves recognition and a pat on the back.
