You and MB are like Matter and Anti-Matter Uncle. MB needs to accept that not every film released will be a tale of an Andalusian Shepherd boys love of his life/dog/sheep/ blind Grandfather and you need to accept that Stephen Spielberg can do " average " films.

It's very polarised, it seems to be a case of big budget sci fi/ superhero/ cuddly animation v Biopics/ Kooky screwball "comedy "/coming of age films.

Yes but they are not distracting, you do have to concentrate though and there are lots of walk through scenes as the camera follows one of the leads through the theatre backstage.

I agree, after a good start it became very formulaic with an unlikely evil nemesis and a contrived rescue plot. Pity.
