Agree it depends on what division we are in and we should change accordingly. And I agree with it having to be relevant. I should also add that the terrace one is diiferent to the anthem, and should be considered so, rather blending them both. If the GOSBTS anthem second line was just changed...

I agree to a degree, but it does depend on what division we are in at the time, and when we are in the Prem the "going up" bit will make no sense either. If anything when we are in the Prem it should be changed again, but to "we're staying up and we'll win the cup"?

:lolol: At 0:56 there are definately some pitch issues and it has nothing to do with the groundsman.

Depends what era of football the fan belonged to. When we were already up in the old First Division we couldn't go up a league, but we could go up to Wembley and win the cup. I would have been that 16 year old moron in 83 and that's the way I learnt it.

First time I have seen this and I haven't got a clue on what they are singing. Is there a link to their lyrics I am curious now?

It does take time out of our lives supporting them? There are two versions anyway. We have the one when players come onto the pitch, and the other one is: Good Old Sussex By the sea, Good Old Sussex By the sea, and we're going up to win the cup, Sussex by the Sea ----- ALTOGETHER NOW (repeat...

We do sort of salute when we shout seagulls.

Ok :lolol: I've got rid of bugles and dropped the boys  Now is the time for football, Now let your hearts bleed blue, Salute to the soaring seagulls, Flying the whole way through, So let your voices sing out loud, And take the time from me, And I’ll sing you a song as we march along, Of...

Completely agree, it worked when gay meant happy but it's just a little awkward these days. It should be adapted; Now is the time for football, Now let your hearts bleed blue, Hark to the merry bugles, Sounding the whole way through, So let your voices ring, my boys, And take the time...
