    i hit the top shelf when i got diagnosed , thought it was strange they wanted a second MRI as they are usually pretty conclusive and extremely detailed , the letter is downright average on their behalf though , drink whatever you want if it takes the weight off your shoulders , if they remove...

    i think it all depends on your attitude towards doctors , mine is .08 5yrs post op , my surgeon has told me that my area of work can affect the reading , lots of chemicals in the building industry , he said if it continues to rise i can have a PET scan but looking for anything at this...

    mine was only 5.6 but had risen rapidly ......my prostate was 40 % tumour , thankfully my gp saved me from a shitty , painful death ..... my gleason rating was 8-10 , aggressive and my option was immediate surgery or radiation but if the radiation failed i was foobarred.

    psi rises with age ....without freaking everyone out your prostate is a little time bomb rather like ovaries , how ironic that its these two organs are needed to procreate and yet they can be the most damaging organ in ones body ....such is life ...! just live your life...

    i had no symptoms , just picked up on steady rise in p.s.a over a few years ending up at 5.8 and high gleason score that's a bit kunty for a 2 week membership ......something tells me you may not last long.
