1 or 2 would need to be U21s. And if the squad is still too large the vulnerable players would come from Norwood, Murphy or Skalak, I suppose.

Lol. Well that could do it, given unlimited cash. We've filled 16-17 places in the 25 man squad, so 8-9 places + any extra U21s still need to be recruited.

Bruno signed a new deal for next year a while back. Tomori is U21 so wouldn't count towards the 25 man squad.

Oliver Burke from RB Leipzig would count as an U21 player. Maybe he'd want to come back to the UK, although the fee maybe out of our league.

Mostly agree with that , although... 3. Walton needs games not sitting in the stands as number 3. 5. Would be great if they could play central defence as well. 22. I think Skalak will do better in the PL than 21 Murphy. I'd keep them both to start with and reassess in January.

Depends which players that are out of contract get retained. Things will be clearer at that point.
