No, we want Middlesbrough to lose on Friday. And for us to beat Derby. If the goal difference swings 4 in our favour over those two matches then we could lose 1-0 at Riverside and go up.

Yep, all about beating Derby. But we can be Birmingham fans for a couple of hours on Friday night as well.

I'll write them off. They can get a maximum of 86 points which won't be enough for top 2.

Would absolutely love to stitch up Barton and Dyche.

Agreed, although one of the Burnley fans has asked us to look at the table on Saturday night to see how far ahead they are.

Generally resist doing predictors until after 40 games have passed. Might as well wait until after the Saturday games and then I'll have a go before we play Forest. As of now my non-predictor forecast is that 90 points are required for us to make 2nd place.

You have 3 points from the games v Burnley, Birmingham and Forest. This is reasonable, but it is also where we need more. I am convinced that if we are 2nd after Forest, we'll finish in the top 2.

89 points is the magic number currently. Today is a good chance to get 3 of them.

Agreed. 89 should do it. I was thinking 92 before Boro lost to Charlton, and Hull only got 2 points from MKD and Forest, but 89 seems reasonable now. On another point, I actually think we have a reasonable chance of beating Burnley on April 2. That will set the cat amongst the promotion pigeons.
