The FIA President is a former CEO of Ferrari. That's all anyone needs to know.
Whilst I think the decision was probably fair I would also bet that if it wasn't against a Ferrari or for a podium place it would not have been made.
Got to agree. Whilst I was delighted to see him beat a Ferrari, in all honesty I would have been spitting feathers and crying foul if it was against Hamilton.
I get what your saying but he's not nearly in the same league. Raikkonen helps Vettel and can protect him at times but Bottas just gives up whenever there is a fight and isn't a good enough in qualifying to stay ahead of the Mercedes rivals. Just a bang average driver
Can also depend on the car though. If Lewis' McLaren had been any where near the Red Bull for a few years after his first title he would easily have 5/6 titles by now. Look at Alonso, so talented but the wrong decision at the wrong time can be devastating.
It was easily Bottas' corner and would have been well within his rights to close the door but he left it open. Won't effect the win unless Hamilton blows a tyre in the next two laps but has let Vettel have two places due to the Ferrari team orders
I wish they had showed Kimi's introduction and his complete hatred of such overblown shite. F1 drivers already have an ego, we don't need to feed it with such nonsense
But what if Lewis comes off worse (puncture) whereas Vettel just loses front end plate. Lewis would have to retire from the damage caused by dragging the car round for a lap on three wheels whereas Vettel may be able to wait until the first round of pitstops. Think allowing a crash would be...
Bottas again failing to show he is real quality when Hamilton could have really done with a team mate between him and Vettel. I fear Vettel will be ruthless into the first corner as he knows that a Hamilton win will all but guarantee him the title so he might as well throw it into the first...
