    Bell Cheeses at work

Haven't got time to read over the full details of this argument, could someone ping over a brief run through of the main topics so I can take it offline and feedback my findings by close of play tomorrow?

    Bell Cheeses at work

I think I may have come across a new category of Workplace B.C.- please feel free to correct me though. A woman who sits on the row of desks opposite mine is a serial INTERRUPTER. She will INTERRUPT any and all conversations in order to spout some inane b******s about how "her husband has had a...

I'm sure that's a key learn that we can take away from this session and run up the flagpole

Good idea on the away match front but we would have to call them "piss up with the lads days" to avoid the involuntary shudder when reading the words "team-building" on any kind of email.

In the Bell Cheese Consultancy Office we would have free milk, tea, coffee and food for all. Free tablets for all employees (to keep abreast of happenings on NSC), weekly trips to the pub (attendance optional) and no animals of any kind allowed in the office. "Team building" events would be...

Imagine all the contributors to this thread started our own company-it would surely be the most productive workplace in the world. No bullshit jargon, no irritating workmates, no crisp munching fatties......bliss.

As if by magic as I was reading this post, one LITERALLY went off a few desks behind me.

    Bell Cheeses at work

Reading through the past few pages have reminded me why this is quite simply the best thread on NSC. Reading the workplace rants of others is amazingly cathartic. I'm a little upset that since moving jobs there is a distinct lack of bell cheese action in my new office to report back on. Early...

Would you agree with the findings in this report Badger?! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-17561272 Bringing pet dogs to work can reduce stress and make the job more satisfying for other employees, a study suggests. US researchers found those with access to dogs were less stressed as the day...

:( I still find it incredible that people are allowed to bring pets into work. I think that would tip me over the edge. Occasionally people here have brought them in on their lunch break to say hello to their co-workers (Christ knows why), but having a dog sit in the office ALL DAY is crazy!

Haha this ruse could well work as no-one I sit with works in the same team or department as me- they will not have a clue about any calls I may be on so will be none the wiser!

I've just realised I can use my telephone headset to listen to Youtube videos/podcasts via my PC. PANIC OVER! Plus this will make everyone think I am on the phone so no-one will BOTHER me.

The nearest shop is a 5 minute drive away and I cycle to work so it's not an option sadly. I've resorted to sticking some Blu-tac in both ears to try and drown out the drivel.

    Bell Cheeses at work

DISASTER has struck today. It's my last day in before Xmas and I've left my headphones at home meaning I will now have to listen to the DREARY INANE DRIVEL emanating from most of the office. May have to pull a sickie and leave early before I assault someone...
