Fair weather supporters always leave it to the last minute. Weather looks fine.

I think more fans are now computer savvy on how to buy tickets. That and the absence of really poor games.

I think it was more likely the other way around. Planning Permission was technically for 28,500 (increased for 2013-14) and the attendances against Palace and Blackpool were understated. Figures from the Argus.

I'm just a bit curious of how many supporters could actually practically get in the Amex? The actual number of padded seats is likely to be a different figure.

S1C D & E hold about 600 each. If they bring 1400 they would not fit in two blocks, but too many for three blocks? Allows segregation zone.

Bums on Seats I knew the crowd was understated 30,003 + at least 20 boys in blue and I bet they did not pay for their tickets!

Burnley fans have got a reputation (not seen down here) for making a lot of noise (when playing up north).

Half occupied (rather than filled) I expect. (like for the Brentford game).

There might be empty seats in the away end. I think the allocation could be tweaked a bit in the future...

Yep, It does seem that casual supporters are just waking up to thinking about getting a ticket. They had a better choice yesterday. The ones available in the corner are scraping the barrel if there is a choice of watching it on TV. Not the area for the right sort of atmosphere.

28,672 v Burnley 1960-61 There might be a few supporters who remember this match? Not me. They were still talking about in the latter half of the sixties. 3-3. Something for Radio Sussex to find.

Burnley look like that they have been allocated 1700 seats (+ 300 for segregation) but may only be bringing 1400 or so? Maybe our officicial capacity at 30,750 is more than we can ever get in?

I think that is about 1200 fans (S1E and S1D) + S1A which does not seem to be allocated for away fans. It seems very possible that this will be the record number of home supporters in the Amex?

That explains the 200 empty seats in C & D (part) then. I wondered if we would get 30K in he ground. Could be dependent selling seats to Burnley fans in A & B ? Wolves had more local fans so they could fill up the away allocation and take the crowd over 30K. I think it will be more like 29K...
