Well I was born 1956 and I was a kid until I left school and started work 1973, so feel I can contribution to this thread. You can still start a 60s thread though!
I don't think anyone had their own TVs in the 60s-early 70s, well not where I lived. It was all DER and Rediffusion, which meant renting the TVs. It was a big deal when my parents bought their own TV mid 70s.
Me, my brother and a mate used to drink this bottle (or was it dobonnet) and then add water to it so it looked full. When it was empty another bottle appeared and we'd do the same thing. Never saw my parents drink it mind. they must of said it tastes like water.
Anyone played for Moulsecoomb Targets 1972-73. Got to a Cup Final at Southwick's ground. I said we won 4-0, my brother said we lost 0-4. I prefer my version.
Ah! the Party 7 - a party was not a party without some Party 7s. I asked a couple of 30ish guys at work about the Party 7. They never heard of them. I had to explain they were part of my youth in the 70s and it was compulsory to bring a couple of Party 7s to a party (or you weren't allowed in).
