Then went on to second table and confirmed name and address, where the bloke did the usual crossing my name off the list and handing over...

    The sort of 18-25 year old that doesn't earn enough money to learn to drive, never mind run a car, or go on foreign holidays. Also the sort of voter that would vote for a party that isn't the Conservatives.

    The reason everything seemed amazing 50 years ago was because you were 50 years younger. I wasn’t there, but from what I’ve been told, early-70s U.K. was actually a bit shit.
