im a bit on the fence, nothing wrong with it, but I am still pissed off with the awful final season of GOT, with a similar issue with this-in that GRR hasnt written the rest of the books this is based on, I fear that the same will happen, pretty good up to the point the source material runs out...

The problem with GOT was simply that the TV show got itself ahead of the source material, after which point the whole thing was being created on the hoof, with only a vague notion from GRR Martin as to where it was going. When they started filming GOT, the first five(?) books were published...
