[Albion] the "assistance" priority train ramp post-match

Disabled ppl do struggle in other situations yes and I can only hope we all show tolerance and understanding in these situations but that doesnt invalidate the need for the ramp. Secondly who am I you or anyone else to determine who came and leaves in a group, what if its adult Mum disabled and...

[Albion] the "assistance" priority train ramp post-match

not sure thats practical all the way up the 3 lanes as it would converge with the Brighton westbound queue and become unmanageable chaos - you have to draw the line somewhere otherwise why not have 3 lanes back to the North exit and a lane spurs off to East West etc etc! I think the system works...

[Albion] the "assistance" priority train ramp post-match

I would just hope that Stewards can be left to do their job, use some common sense (crutches, walking stick, wheelchair etc I dont think anyone can say the ramp isnt required!) and it doesn't become a 'no wrist band no go' situation (that would be absurd) . Also that people dont go trying to...

Exactly make use of the stewards as they are there at the time and on the whole I find the club stewards generally very good. I mean that overall not just on train routes in and outta the ground. Can be a little over zealous at times but its well meant i believe.

[Albion] the "assistance" priority train ramp post-match

Thank you for updating us all and for again a top class posts - i would just hope Stewards use common sense and e.g. a walking crutch stick or wheelchair and no wrist band doesn't outright mean no ramp use. If queue jumpers see the stewards are more actively then im sure that alone will stop a...

[Albion] the "assistance" priority train ramp post-match

I find some comments rather distasteful on here. The problem is with those able joining the ramp not an issue with anyone with a disbilility stick wheelchair crutch etc. Seriously whether struggling/disabled for reason a, b, c, d, e...z or any combination it doesnt matter i find it offensive...

Yep and passing them on and checking them on a dark evening at least for the majority using the ramp a wheelchair/stick/crutch is an obvious clearly visible 'wrist band'

I think you miss many points here and if tickets can get passed on how easy do you think a few wrist bands passed on will be?

How do you determine whats genuine and not? A wheelchair/crutches/stick may be obvious but some disabilities are hidden. Shaming someone with a protected right for example is not the way forward. If a few others gain advantage its their conscience.

Nor will anyone passing by at the end of the match. Football fans dont own the station and ramp. Stewards generally do a good job just let them get on with it they are their for everyones safety and security. Of course there are always bad apples as with fans taking the mick but you cant...

Good points made. A stick can easily be accidentally kicked and the person tumbles. Compensation time and the idea removing the ramp lane will soon get reversed. Disabilities are sometimes hidden and that needs to be respected.

[Albion] the "assistance" priority train ramp post-match

So if someone in a wheelchair or struggling with a stick shows up without more paperwork you what ask them to hobble to the back of the queue? Do the club even 'own' authority here? What if a member of public (not at the match) happens to be wheelchairing it/crutch/walking sticking it at clear...

[Albion] the "assistance" priority train ramp post-match

More registration really? You need a crutch/walking aid temp whilst an injury is heeling what you need a Dr certificate to pass? Perhaps a mimimum no. of carers/family members maybe max 2 per person but surely it just needs stewards to do their job use common sense its hard to believe anyone is...

Thats not a great idea. The Stewards generally do a good job maybe a few had their eye off the ball today.
