Good deal for us, good deal for Vydra, I think if you top score in the championship you probably deserve a shot at the PL. If they play him off Wood then it gives him a chance and I guess we'll see how good he is.

Sorry for the arse splintering answer but they're different players - Gross will never score as many goals as Vydra, but will create more. All depends on how you're going to play I guess.

Vydra is comfortably good enough to play in the PL - £15m would be marvellous, thank you! Seriously, he's an enigma, scored 20+ this season without completing 90 mins that often but while held in reasonably high regard, probably not as much as his stats would suggest. Needs a team built around...
