    Have you checked that there were no recorded accidents? Thought not. Also how would it be possible to fall over a safe standing bar (unless you were climbing on it)? The whole point of them is to stop crowd surges from behind

    This line particularly irks me. How can you come up with stuff like this when you're spending a considerable amount of money building "the Tunnel Club" for the benefit of a few well off people

    Although the club obviously isn't keen I'm trying to think of a ground I've been to in recent years that hasn't had safe standing. With more and more clubs installing rails it does feel like its fairly inevitable

    The way the survey is worded and some of the questions they ask, it feels like the club already knows what the outcome is going to be and this exercise is merely to placate the advisory board.
