I had the same thoughts as you about the Glasgow Ice Cream Wars (see posts 31 and 91). The other barber shop across the road is allegedly where the assailants came from (see post 28).

Which is best? HB or Gentleman's? ....there's only one way to find out.......

"The Portslade Turkish Barber Shop Wars" doesn't roll quite so easily off the tongue as "The Glasgow Ice Cream Wars" though.

When I read that for some reason it made me think of the Glasgow Ice Cream Wars which was a turf dispute amongst mobile Ice Cream vendors in the 1980s which got pretty nasty.
