I remember Peacehaven to Brighton London Rd taking up to an hour in the morning in term time. But before I retired, my commute of 12k here in Malta was 45 minutes by car, 20 mins on scooter or an hour and a half by bus. Again in term time. My sympathy for all who have to endure this type of journey.
