    I don't think so - here the employee screwed the employer. They're paying him £1.25m a year, he took himself out of action. I feel for the guy, we all make mistakes, but I've got sympathy for the employer as well.

    That's whataboutism. I was looking at Keogh's case in isolation. Fact is Keogh was old and in the twilight of his career. All the more reason to (a) expect more from him and (b) for him to not be so daft. The two young kids are worth more, have longer contracts (i'm guessing, I don't know)...
