    I'm one of the late 50's age relative nifty runners. 6 months of severe rheumatoid arthritis flare up 2 years ago put a temporary stop to that till last May when I ran a 37" Parkrun. Best feeling I've ever had on a Parkrun with the slowest time ever but I was back! Well done for sticking at it.

    Good luck with that. One missed day can quickly lead to a week, a month.......That's why following a plan/app is good. if you do miss it at least you had a good workout jumping about for half an hour last night.

    Good luck Tim Over Whelmed Drop in on the running thread for encouragement and to post news of progress. Don't run through injuries and don't try and race anyone, especially your boys. Yet! Make sure you don't aggravate the dodgy ankle. Running on grass (not :smokin:)and good trainers.
