I just think the use of the term will cleanse Brighton of its more historically important names like Steine - a stoney place where fisherman dried out their nets.
Ironic, as Brighton cleansed itself of the fishing industry to accommodate the interests of the DFL’s in the 1800’s.
And can we stop using the think-tank invented term Valley Gardens to describe those green spaces formerly known as the Old Steine, Victoria Gardens and the Level.
