There's a new quiz every Thursday night at the Fox on the Downs at the top of Elm Grove, starting at 8pm. Very much a traditional pub quiz.

Apart from plugging my own quiz, I attended the Ladies Mile pub quiz last night on Mackie Avenue in Patcham. They a monthly quiz on the first Wednesday night of the month. The quiz is good and competitive, it's very well attended and they always have a raffle that raises money for charity.

The Duke of Wellington in Upper Gloucester Road on the last Sunday of the month is where it's at. I hear the host is good looking and charm personified. ;-) The next quiz there is on Sunday 28 October. Expect there will be a few Halloween themed questions. Always good to see some new faces.
