    There's a couple of cafes easily within 5 minutes walk of Queen's Park. There are several more on St James' Street and St George's Road which are less than 10 minutes walk away from the park itself too which is where the nearest shops are.

    Have fond memories of Westdene as went to school there as a child. The one thing it does lack, however, is a decent pub. Or correction, any pub, unless you count The Sportsman or carvery or whatever it is now.
