Part of me always thinks "cuts inside and shoots" whenever I think of Izzy. But, like Knocky, he did get you excited. Trossard has been playing really well but when he burst into our team as a super sub I thought he might be as good as mint-period Hazard. But it's all about team play now...

Still can't get over the fact that he played under Hughton when he was obviously lame unless the big injury was completely unrelated? He had a few games strapped up playing when he was a shadow of his former self.

I’d be amazed if he comes back with the original pace he had. I hope to be amazed but can’t really see it. Without that pace I wonder what sort of player we’re left with? Hopefully still good enough.

This struck me as odd at the time (he looked unhappy, uninvolved and lacking in oomph) and in retrospect seems disastrous.
