True enough. As champions, an inability to retain the trophy is by nature failure. But they'd only won it once unlike the serial winners of Real, so it was always likely to be a close-run thing. That said and probably against my better judgement, I've got a sneaky feeling for PSG this year...

The double's still very much on. Clear favourite in the league with their run-in. Get past the billion pound bottle jobs at the weekend and it's United or Coventry in the Final. A treble last season, a double this. And 4 Premier Leagues in a row. I think they'd take that.
