    They use managers etc... to replace the conductors normally on strike days is my understanding. Which is the main reason that services still run, albeit more limited.

    Just to point out, trains would likely still be somewhat stuffed if the game was on a Saturday. Rolling stock is always in the wrong place the day after a strike, so while a Saturday game wouldn't have been as bad, it still wouldn't be great.

    Lots of other fields he could go into with similar, or better, pay and avoid fans, working for the customers that many feel he considers us.

    "They don't just not run trains" meaning "They will still run trains during a strike in general". I didn't think it was that hard to puzzle out.

    Sure, but by my count we currently have 14 home games on a Saturday. So it's free about 75% of the time on a Saturday.
