if you were a cabbie then you must know that all taxis in brighton and hove wether hackney or PH use a price set by the hackney office and display charges tariff inside taxi plus there has been no price increase for approx 3 yrs.

obviously all the cabbies have read your negative posts on NSC try 204060 next time for a multi seater or maybe none in your area or try moving nearer to Brighton or keep using Uber before they lose their licence :bounce:

On friday Uber quoting £55 to gatwick from montefiore hospital brighton taxis set fare £40 for 4 people have heard other prices quoted by Uber and are on a par with brighton cabs or slightly more expensive

they certainly wont offer you a service in future your probably now on the other 2 companies shit list

If you knew anything about the taxi service in Brighton you might have seen the price list set by the council in every taxi in the town so i sugest you aim your comments to the Hackney Officers in Hove Town Hall

only about 12 hackney plates issued each year and there is a 12 year waiting list, every 5 years the council have an outside company do a poll and survey on the taxi service in brighton and they always report that we have enough taxis to cover the area. so no need to flood the town with Uber...

22000 drivers in london uncontrollable, 32 rapes, dodgy drivers and cars only fully comp insurance and price surge so its not so cheap but any way best of luck i doubt council will renew their licence as they dont have enough drivers, no multi seaters and no wheelchair accessable cabs

yes they all get their work from City Cabs , if you drop in brighton you are allowed to take work over the radio if a job is offered to you but you are not allowed to plot up and wait for work once you have dropped you must go back to your licenced area ie Lewes
