I worked in the UK for over 20 years, I then moved to Cyprus.
I paid tax and NI in the UK, and I now pay both in Cyprus.
When I retire I will get a UK pension proportional to the amount of years I paid in and a Cypriot pension proportional to the amount I will have paid in here.
Why on earth...
Where do people get this stuff?
1) Nipping back to the UK once a month doesn't entitle an expat to NHS treatment.
2) The state pension depends on how mnay weeks NI you've paid, not how often you "nip back to the UK",
