Agree generally but, of course, it is not a particularly large village.
The Tudor Close is, to my mind, particularly special, thatched, excellent food and dog friendly !
Although I have only been in there once or twice, The Henty Arms is probably also a decent traditional pub.
Ah but I live in Goring about 100 yards before the street lamps finish when Ferring starts.
It does however say something that Ferring, with no street lamps, is a particularly safe place with no apparent high crime level !
I agree that, in general terms, either is a very decent place to live...
