Based on what I have read on the subject, the FL class financial stability means not being reliant on a sugar daddy who may or may not stay around. Its about ensuring that the "normal income" of the club (tv, tickets, pies, corporate, etc) is enough to cover costs. An admirable aim IMO...

Completely agree... but what seems to rile people most about Forest is they are trying to cheat - but so openly that its insulting. A number of clubs seem to have just said f*ck FFP and spent to get out of the division (or least done nothing to reign in their runaway debts), with varying degree...
But this was the financial year that every one pushed through the costs ahead of FFP coming in properly. We nearly doubled our losses but I'm sure that was more down to creative accountancy and rushing invoices through than any change in the cost or income base.
