    [Albion] Southampton away - tickets

Quite right. Going the other way - from Southampton to Brighton - for evening games is sometimes a mare. The M27 from Fareham going westbound gets congested from 4.00 pm without the usual shit hits of Worthing, Arundel and the Chichester roundabouts to contend with as well. Best of luck!

    [Albion] Southampton away - tickets

I understand your sentiments and logic here, but we are talking Southern. Having made innumerable journeys on the train from/to Southampton and Brighton for Albion matches many of those journeys have resulted in delays, terminations or cancellations. Take your pick. I sincerely hope that...

    [Albion] Southampton away - tickets

Based on the match ending at 21.40 allow 30 minutes or so to get to the station. You should do it - fingers crossed! Ideal route - exit the away end and up Britannia Road towards Northam Road and turn left at the lights towards city centre. Follow the signs for city centre and, eventually...

    [Albion] Southampton away - tickets

Southwestern Railway train departs Southampton Central at 23.00 arrives at Waterloo at 01.04. if that helps. Walking back from the stadium, at the end of the game, to the station shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes.

You're quite right of course! A bit of wishful thinking on my part in that I thought they may be rolling out the red carpet for the best team on the south coast. :D

    [Albion] Southampton away - tickets

With regard to the various posts about the generosity of Saints/Sponsors offering cut price tickets there is maybe an ulterior motive here. Southampton's attendances are declining. Their fans are seriously fed up with what's being served up on the pitch and are now playing the "stay away" game...

    [Albion] Southampton away - tickets

Back in 2010 dear old Southern (yes, them!) provided an extra train to take Albion fans back from Southampton to Brighton after the match. Now what do you think the chances are of them repeating that gesture again?

No problem for me, or it seems, a load of other fans. What's your beef?

    [Albion] Southampton away - tickets

Woolston is okay, a lot Saints fans park there and walk across the Itchen Bridge to get to the ground (about a 20 minute walk). The problem is the traffic congestion coming away after the game. Not a bad shout though. Forget Ocean Village though. You either have to pass the stadium or go...

    [Albion] Southampton away - tickets

A bit of local knowledge pour vous. Where you are referring to was the P&R site at Bursledon (next to Tesco Superstore) just off the M27 at junction 8. Unfortunately this no longer exists as the land has been sold for development. Parking around St.Marys is an absolute mare - and if you did...
