    Limiting the number of times you can return a ticket is not a bad idea. 4 times should be the max (in my view). Also, you only get the refund if the ticket is resold. That will become easier when all away tickets become e-tickets, the sooner the better.

    That's a bit of an exageration. We had to collect tickets at Man City and had ID checked at Palace. That was it. I suspect most fans travelling, don't time it to arrive 5 minutes before kick off so no great hardship collecting tickets. The obvious blip was Charlton but that wasn't due to the...

    Agree with this but would add the caveat that you only get the money back if the ticket is sold. Most will be but what we don't want is people buying tickets for matches unsure whether they will go and then the club getting masses of tickets back a day before the match.

    It's not ideal but it is a step in the right direction. If that 'guest' gets id checked at the away game, if the photo id doesn't match the name on the ticket they ain't getting in. That's going to be mighty embarrassing if they are a 'corporate' client of the 1901 member.
