Is there something in the Labour constitution that requires shadow ministers to automatically get the gig if they win an election? I suspect Corbyn is well aware of her shortcomings and there is no way she'll get a senior ministerial job in the unlikely event they get a majority. Certainly...
Not how I remember it. Brown was roundly criticized for QE by Cameron and his lackey, Osborne. in 2009, Osborne was quoted as saying 'QE was the last act of a desperate government'.

You're absolutely right, Labour caused a massive global meltdown and instead of pumping money into banks they should have let several of them fail and anyone who had funds with them well that would have been tough, collateral damage if you like. As for the NHS, who cares if labour voters can't...
FFS, you do understand what 'real terms' means!!!!
Your arguing for the sake of it. You are well aware of what every means.
So, in real terms, do you accept that schools have less money per pupil?
So why mention it when I asked whether the rich should pay more than they currently do?
You make stupid comments about the 'ultra left' but post irrelevant videos from a right wing news station.
You don't answer comments raised so the only conclusion is probably that you are either just...
I did listen to the whole video and she didn't suggest the 90% rate, the reporter did. The reporter also was the one trying to suggest they would all leave the country. We've seen similar things said here as we approach elections but I'm not sure there is any evidence to confirm that actually...
But do you not think the uber rich couldn't afford to contribute more than they do?
This government seem hell bent on reducing the burden on the rich but are quite happy to pass that burden onto the poorer sections.
I don't know about MR but most people will accept that every party got something wrong. In hindsight, the Iraq War was wrong, the scale of some of the PFI projects were wrong but there were also things that they got right.
What do you think the Tories have got wrong over the last 7 years?
That is a typical tory mantra. You see it at the end of every report into spending whether it be the NHS, education etc etc. 'The Dept for (fill in the blanks) were asked for comment and stated more money is being spent on (fill in the blanks) than ever before.'
It is a pathetic comment...
So you are saying that Major didn't introduce PFIs and Osborne didn't continue them?
You bang on about lefties but why aren't the righties answer any points raised. 6 of 1 and half a dozen of the other.
