We had the same issue until Virgin blitzed Burgess Hill and installed fibre everywhere - we were kind of captive for Sky until that point so the contract negotiation game was a bit one sided.- dazzer6666

That’s pretty much identical to where I ended up in discussion with Sky, but Virgin deal was £85 (and broadband is more than 10x faster)- dazzer6666

I was in the same position. Switched to Virgin (after 20 years with Sky), virtually the same package at less than half the price. They couldn’t get close to the Virgin price- dazzer6666
