We've obviously got a solid group of away travelers who do most/all games, another group that are desperately trying to increase their LPs and then the large % of STHs that never or rarely go to away games (unless it's a Wembley semi final, then they'll be all over social media asking questions...

Fair decision imo. They’re lucky the ban was reduced, bit daft to go ahead and pass the ticket on nowadays. The health situation is really irrelevant - there’s no list of acceptable ailments/conditions that allows a ticket to be transferred.

Not sure I agree. I'm aware of plenty of T1/T2 STHs who would buy a ticket for every away game, safe in the knowledge they could offload it to someone and keep the points. The checks have pretty much killed that off which is a good thing.

The main issue wasn’t the harvesting though (though that was also considered) - the main issue was that every person ejected/charged with an offence at an away game prior to the ID/random checks being introduced was someone other than the person who bought the ticket. Would be interesting to see...

I guess if the recipient of a 1901 away ticket gets ejected then the responsibility will fall back on the 1901 member, same as how home guest tickets (which stay in the name of the purchasing member) work. The greater flexibility that goes with 1901 tickets is reflected in the higher cost I...
