Agreed....my son did this a couple of weeks ago, got he replacement within 3 days.

If it’s a simple renewal you shouldn’t need a countersigned pic........if you had the time you can even submit photos online to renew now.

You’re supposed to turn up with the application completed and all your relevant docs.....not sure if they’ll allow you to fill in a form when you get there. I did it last year and if you have all the stuff the service is excellent - new passport available within 4 hours. I guess you’ll have to...
